What makes a good photo?

Not all photos make good contest photos for The Caption Game. It can be a challenge! The following are some guidelines for what works and what doesn't.

Guidelines:

• Big. The photo should be at least 500 pixels wide.
  
  
• The photo should be bright and clear.
  
  
• It does not have to be funny. Sometimes the best photos are not funny at all. But they should leave things way open to different interpretations.
  
  
• It can be funny, but it should have different themes or directions writers could go so the contest is interesting.
  
  
• No porn. Plenty of that on the web already.
