Here’s a few more photos from a trip I took YEARS ago. I’d very much like to see how Prague has changed since I was there. I remember thinking it was simply spectacular. It’s such a beautiful city. I want to go back and bring a real camera.

Iceland Photos

Several years ago (in fact, before digital photography), I had a chance to take a 3 day layover in Iceland. I took the opportunity to see the incredible country. It has it all, a clean, sophisticated city with all that you’d expect of a Scandinavian city (well, town, really). But the real draw is the wild landscape of the countryside. There’s glaciers, volcanos, fault lines, black sand beaches, geo-thermal swimming pools, and more. It’s an amazing place. Here are some photos from a few years ago.

The second part of the trip was spent up north around the Kuusamo area. These photos are from the surrounding areas such as the Karhunkierros in Oulanka National Park. And one from the grocery store of some breakfast pickled fish. Yuck!

Finland 2007 - Part 1 Photos

A few weeks ago I returned from visiting Finland, or Suomi, as it’s called in Finnish. It was a great trip to parts of the country I had not seen before. The first part of the trip, where these pictures were taken, was spent down south. These photos are from Helsinki, Tammisaari, Hanko, Mustio, and some stops along the way.
