By far the most popular section of EdgeCurve is the Captions Game. Thousands of captions are submitted every round by players around the world. We thought it would be fun to get to know some of the players that have either been playing for years now, or have an exceptional talent. Today we meet Jennifer Powell. Say hello to Jennifer in the comments below.
Mr. E: Hello Jennifer, please introduce yourself.
Jennifer: I’m Jennifer, avid EdgeCurve enthusiast and mom of 2 (with hubby it’s 3).
Mr. E: What part of the country do you live in?
Jennifer: I live in S.E. Ohio – cow country.
Mr. E: What do you do when not playing the Captions Game?
Jennifer: Work (of course) and am a football mom.
Mr. E: How did you first hear about EdgeCurve’s Captions Game?
Jennifer: I came across it several years ago actually by chance and have been hooked ever since!
Mr. E: How else do you flex your creative muscle?
Jennifer: Cooking, I love to create new dishes and try new flavors. Usually the family agrees but occasionally the health department may need to be called.
Mr. E: What sort of items have you bought with your Amazon winnings?
Jennifer: I bought a new set of kitchen skillets and pans! Plus a couple of “luxury” items just for me!
Mr. E: If we asked, what four words would a best friend use to describe you?
Jennifer: Sweet, thoughtful, caring and funny.
Mr. E: What would you say are some of your guilty pleasures?
Jennifer: Watching cheesy horror flicks, MySpace and playing on Xbox 360 and the PS2 also! I’m a gamer at heart!
Mr. E: What animal do you think you most resemble?
Jennifer: A tropical fish: colorful, unique and in my own little aquarium.
Mr. E: Creamy or chunky peanut butter?
Jennifer: CREAMY!!
Mr. E: Do you remember what was the last book or magazine you read?
Jennifer: New Moon by S. Meyer (a vampire book).
Mr. E: What historical figure would you most like to have dinner with?
Jennifer: Plato or DiVinci (it’s a tie!)
Mr. E: If we looked, what would we find on your iPod?
Jennifer: iPod? I just got a darn cell phone! What do you mean iPod?!
Mr. E: Lastly, you win (or are mentioned) a lot at the Captions Game, what advice can you give to all the other players that you beat so consistently?
Jennifer: Keep it simple, submit a few captions at a time and try to be unique! Have fun with it!

Hi Jennifer, Jeff green here got your post and thank you very much! Your a fine captioner yourself. I read your profile it’s funny you really do live in cow country I live in Dallas and most people think cows roam the streets while you actually have to drive about an hour to see one. Best wishes Jeff

I just wanted to let ya know that you’re now officially being investigated by the health department. They’ve been trying to figure out where all the local pets have dissappeared to.
Congrats on your wins!!
