I know several EdgeCurve readers love their Xbox 360’s. And while this is not a video game website, it is about pop culture and video games are a part of that. The following is a list of soon-to-be-released games for the Xbox 360 that I’m super excited about (along with hordes of others):

• Guitar Hero III
  Guitar Hero II should be on this list but Guitar Hero 3 is going to be the one to get with its awesome setlist and gameplay tweaks.
• Halo 3
  The next (and final) installment of the Halo series. Some predict this to be the biggest game of all time.
• Grand Theft Auto IV
  The game people love and love to hate that will challenge Halo 3’s “biggest game of all time” title.
• Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
  Fun for kids and adults alike. This one has all 6 movies. If only they would expand the Lego video game series…
• Lego Indiana Jones
  I can’t find a link for this but it’s coming, I just know it.
• Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  Back into Infinity Ward’s capable hands and taking place in modern times. Already amazing based on the demo alone.
• Rock Band
  This one takes the Guitar Hero concept further and will involve more people. The ultimate party game.
• Assasin’s Creed
  Not much is know about this mysterious game but the buzz is high.
• Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground
  The next incarnation of the famous skateboarding series.
• Mass Effect
  Kind of an RPG or some such game that really takes advantage of the 360’s hardware.
• The next DDR
  No link yet, but it’s coming. The first DDR on the 360 was rather “meh”. They are going to get it right this time.
• Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
  Soon I can be the lightsaber-wielding Jedi I’ve always wanted to be.
